Our 1st Snowfall

Yes, our 1st snowfall with a measurable amount today!!!! We woke to see below.

Its still snowing and I'm going to have to go out today in this mess and deliver my route. At least its not laying on the sidewalks and roads, just the grassy areas........its very pretty outside in fact but so cold and well........snowy!!!! Some areas we heard have 4" so far, but I know we don't have that much -we're lucky to have 1" out there right now.

Doesn't feel like Thanksgiving here, feels like Christmas!

Snow

It snowed yesterday -thinking it was the 1st snow of the season it came down pretty good at times. Nothing to call off schools about or get the shovels out but it did snow. It is so cold here in PA right now the hats/mittens/gloves are needed right now.

I dread this time of year only because I have to work in each day --even though I'm in my car all day long, my windows are down and its brrrrr! cold. Trust me, my windows are up whenever I can --- thank goodness for power windows!!!!
Keep warm!

I didn't get a photo of yesterdays flakes coming down but thought this image was really neat!

Cherished Friends

Cherished Friends --I've been recently chatting back and forth with friends from a website called FACEBOOK.COM --its wonderful! I have chatted with many past high school friends I haven't seen in 20 years. Next year 2009 is our 20th year reunion from high school. Wow! how time flies. Everyone is just now having kids, although I had my daughter 13 years ago --many career oriented friends I'm seeing are now having kids since they had careers from high school til now, after 20 years they figure they better have 'em now...............its so much fun to chat and discuss what's been going on for 20 years. I really hope we can get together next year for our 20th and see what's going on.

If you need to find a friend or pass high school buddy -try Facebook.com --- you'd be amazed who is there!

Have a great fall day!

Rainy Cold Day

Its such a rainy cold day today --- this photo just makes me appreciate the indoors warmth we get. My kitty cat, Smokey is inside at all times and wishes he was outside, but I often tell him (even though he doesn't understand) "no you don't."

Stay warm today -and its just one of those days I wish I could stay inside all day.

Veterans Day

Don't forget to honor veterans today - Nov. 11th, 2008 in honor of VETERANS DAY!

Busy Busy Busy

Well, haven't had much time to blog this week, simply cause its been busy, busy busy here!

My computer finally crashed last Thursday -thinking it'll fix itself like last time, it didn't. So, had to get repaired which wasn't a real high expense, 85.00 --- better than hundreds or having to buy a new one. So, I'm back and running now with doing ebay orders, etc. Its been so busy on ebay I cannot imagine the holidays --- will buyers buy stuff for christmas for my store? My store is really themed for the shopper who buys for themself, so I have no clue what the next month and a half will bring.

It was real cold yesterday, and in the high 20's (temps) last night, burrh! Winter is on its way!

Stay warm.

Halloween Isn't Over Yet

Steve and I dressed as our famous Grandma and Grandpa outfits, we play reverse roles, how funny is this!

Well, Halloween isn't over yet. We still have 1 more party to attend this Saturday -our local hangout has their annual Halloween Party always the weekend after Halloween, that way more people can attend and have a better turnout.

We are going as GRANDMA & GRANDPA -see photo above, as you can see ---- I am dressed as Grandpa and Steve is going as Grandma........it always makes a big hit, specially Steve -he's so funny and reminds you of MAMA from Mama's Family show years ago. We havent' dressed like this in 2 years so we're due..........although its very hot and hard work, it'll be fun!

November

Well, where did October go? I cannot believe its November already and Thanksgiving is only 3 weeks away, wow! time flies..........

We had some fun this weekend at an Adult Halloween Party - everyone dressed, which you don't see too often anymore but we are always out for a challenge. We make our costumes. I am hoping maybe to get a photo of us on this blog.
We dressed like "GLOW STICK PEOPLE" -something not too many people heard of --but a very fun costume and was the HIT OF THE NIGHT. Everyone loved us............once I get a photo downloaded I'll put it on here, hoping they turned out. Everyone had a rough time taking a photo cause the flash was working and couldn't turn off, our costumes were only viewable and worth the see in the dark!

We had a good time, again not too many dress up for Halloween anymore, but we have friends who simply just love it and we all do it.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN AND HAPPY FALL!
