Where has the Year Gone?

I cannot believe I haven't blogged in months and I must get back on track, FACEBOOK has totally taken over my life. Laughing. Taylor is going to high school next year and they had their FAREWELL DANCE this past Friday night at the mIddle School. She looked so nice and so grown up --- I almost thought she looked 17 instead of 13. wow! the kids looked great and they had a great time.
Her friend got her a wrist flower for the dance, it was very very pretty.

Ok, in all seriousness Taylor got new glasses the other week and I just had to take some pics. Some of the pics are having fun but the above photo shows her new look, I guess she loves herself! laugh.

Its Now March

Its Now March -wow! I haven't blogged in what? a month? I cannot believe this and I must get back to business.

I've been using most of my time on FACEBOOK the past month that's probably why but I have done so much the past month and I must update soon, I'm hoping this week as I intend to spend alot of evenings at home due to working double shifts and catch up on blogging.

I haven't taKen any photos the past month and been terrible at this.........I truly must get back into taking some pics.

I do know it SNOWED The past day ---and we have a blanket of white snow on the ground! about 3"-5" in most areas, and cold --very very cold!

its Now February

Its now February, wow! I haven't blogged since Jan.21st, I'm so far behind ---so much going on for the good and the bad.

The weather has been icky here --but at least the past 2 days its been warming up in the low 40's, felt like spring to me.

Taylor was sick today with the bug, I'm searching for a new car to purchase this week, the love life is going good and can't complain as I'm having a new guy friend to hang with and things are going good, and I cannot wait to get paid this week! laugh.
Income tax is arriving on Friday --- which will help me buy a new car, and get some things I need since I am now living on my own, there is so much stuff I'd like to purchase and throw some old stuff away --- start fresh! and stock up on groceries.....which I intend to do by Friday this week.
Go on a shopping spree for food/groceries/supplies. Can't wait.

I am so ready for spring weather.........!!!!!!

our 44th President of the U.S.

Our 44th President of the UNITED STATES is now President Obama. Did you watch yesterday's event? I tried too until I had to go to work. It was an eventful day and I sure hope you had the chance to experience it.

I'm all for starting the new year 2009 out with a fresh start and maybe a new president is one of those, a new life, and also losing 8lbs.......something tells me maybe 2009 will be a good year!

New Car

I got a new car this past week, will take pics and post it shortly - I do like it but never had a brand new one before with only 13 miles on it when I got it. wow!

Its crazy here, been going out the past weekend, and hanging with friends - the weather is wacky too. Very cold and icey the past day........didn't venture outside today --- decided to stay in work on ebay stuff and clean up a little bit, do some Laundry.

Goodbye 2008

Well, its NEW YEARS EVE day and I'm trying to think what to blog about and figured I'd say goodbye to 2008. It wasn't a horrible year in fact, some good things came out of it. But I do want to start 2009 with a good start.

Being single is a start, I am now starting my new life adventure with my daughter of 13, Taylor -and myself. It'll be an adventure for sure. Being alone is tough, but we will make it.

I'm so excited to end this year with good thoughts and start the new year with a positive attitude!

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday to Todd, my brother who turns 40 today! ya' old fart.........getting ready now to go to work and than head over to my mom's where they are coming in from town for the holidays today --- we plan to have a nice dinner, open gifts and mingle. Plus, celebrate his 40th --wow! and to think I only have 3 more years til I hit the big 40!

Wacky Weather

Ok, we're having wacky weather here in the northeast, yesterday it was like 29 degrees high and so frigid cold and tomorrow they are calling for 56 degrees and nice.

The weather is really up and down here. I'm enjoying the warmer weather and just glad its not snow, not yet. Nothing wrong with a big snow -but I want it to happen on the weekend when I'm off work and home.

I'm counting down now 10 days til christmas! yikes!

I don't have nothing to blog about today except its extremely cold out, and I have had some issues with my car window (drivers side) not being able to work, so its been down and won't move now for a week, I'm hoping to have the switch part in hand by Tuesday to fix it, its so cold driving around with the window down, brrrr!
