Redskins in the PooL

Here are some photos my cousins wife, Rhonda, took the other day while swimming in the pooL with Taylor. Of course, they are both Redskins Fans, can't you tell? How cute, I guess. She referred it as Scott's new pooL toy!

What a Busy Saturday

Boy, what a busy day we had yesterday. Not only was it HOT & HUMID (again) but I left the house at 11:00a.m. and did get home until aLmost midnight. We spent the entire day in the pool and trying to stay cooL.
My brother and his family were up for the day from Maryland for a cookout and swimming. Here is my brother and his dog, Harley.



Here is Katie & Taylor trying to act like sweet cousins?!? We'll see how long that last after Katie is here for a week visiting. She is staying with mom & dad while she is here. We all got a touch of sunburn yesterday, at least I know I did and I'm feeling so waterlogged and sunned out. Today may be a day inside. OH, I just realized our grass is still not mowed and its to be hot and humid again today reaching mid 90's, yikes! But the yard must get done even if it takes us all day with little breaks.............


I left my mom's house and headed to a friends of ours where Steve was helping to stain his decks and fences. Thank goodness he had a pooL too. While hanging out with them yesterday, I noticed they had 4 huge butterfly bushes out back, and I bet we counted over 60 butterfly's on these bushes if not more. What a beautiful site!

Catching Up

Catching Up....I just can't seem to catch up on my eBay orders. I completed 4 more orders today and I was home almost all day long. What a job! I catchup on 2 orders and 2 more come in........but shutting my store down would be alot of time and hard work. Everyone is getting notified of my 3 week delay, but I cannot wait until I catchup.

I spent all day home alone working and working and punching and cutting and still didn't break anything in my invoice stack. Someday.............

I have about 40 invoices to go.............yikes!

ChiLLin in the PooL

Here is what we did yesterday. Chilled in the pooL. Here is Haley and Taylor having fun. We plan to do the same thing today too.

It just a relaxing summer day yesterday, very hot and humid as the rain/thunderstorms did chase us home, but we got a good 2 hours or more in the pooL.

Hopefully today we'll have better luck. We are planning to meet my best friend and her kids at my mom's house to swim again. I think we'll soon be water logged out from swimming this week. But.........what is summer about? Stay CooL everyone!

Poconos Raceway

Poconos Raceway Trip

Steve and Greg went to the Poconos on Saturday to watch a lower version of Nextel. It was a class lower than Busch but they were able to get in and see the Trucks for the Nextel race which is today, Sunday. Plus, experience a little bit of the racetrack and racing with a little less crowd. They had fun and here are some photos Steve took:

Taylors last game of the year was yesterday Wed. July 19th, finally we got the game in after numerous cancellations from thunderstorms and weather issues.

Scaredy Cat

I guess Smokey, our Cat, was afraid of a huge thunderstorm we had earlier tonight. He always hides wherever he can find a hiding place. Unfortunately, since we put our window AC's in we close the upstairs bedroom doors and he cannot hide under the beds or upstairs. There is NOWHERE downstairs for him to hide except under the sofa, and he gets stuck and cannot get back out.

Here I put him under the blanket on the sofa and he stayed put but found himself a peek hole to see out, what a SCAREDY CAT! Now we know where that name comes from!

Last Softball Game of the Year

Last Softball Game tonight, yeehaw! Will have results and more photos tomorrow or later tonight! Due to a bad thunderstorm with hail and high winds, heavy rains tonight - the game was rescheduled and cancelled after sitting in our cars for 20 mins hoping for a break in the storm, not!

Vacation Trip 2006

Here is our Vacation Photos from this year. We just got back from Kings Dominion Va. Boy! we had fun but it was hot & humid.

Taylor took a friend along, Lynsi which was a blessing so she had something to do all weekend while we camped at the campgrounds. We rented a cabin, with AC of course, I'm not crazy camping in 90 degree weather ya' know. The KOA campgr0und in Fredericksburg Va was so nice. The Swimming PooL was great, almost right next to our cabin, the showers/bathrooms were practically brand new and very clean. WE had a great stay there.

We visited Kings Dominion amusement park about 30 mins from the campground and had a 2 day pass for the rides and Water Works Park. It was great to come home though and sleep in our own beds. It was a long weekend but we had a great time, here are some photos I'd like to share:

Just a Daily Entry

Nothing new to put on my blog the past 2 days so just journalling today. Got up this morning feeling a little on the nasty side, we went out last night and stayed out too late. Of course, we act like we're 21 again and we're not. But we had fun! Got some grocery shopping done, a few orders and even ate some KFChicken. ummmmmm yum!

The band plays tonight locally, not sure if we're going or not. Actually Steve will go but the location is so small and I don't care for that place too much, no place to sit, usually standing room only so I must stay home or head to the Red rock for a bit. Who knows. Its been a quiet day doing really nothing.

Trying to prepare for our mini-vacation trip this week, we leave on Thursday and come home Sunday to Kings Dominion in Va. Hopefully the weather will hold out.

Just Live it Up

Summer is here and here are some things I'd like to do before summer is over:

1. Throw another party in my back yard, why not - we've already done 2 and that was before July 1st.

2. Make some jello shooters

3. Take a weekend trip, just Steve & I.

4. Gamble in a casino

5. Go skinny dipping just once, who cares where!!!!

6. See my friend Shana at least once, yes! at least once. I miss her.

7. Bleach my hair again, actually that's getting done this week or next.

8. Get a pedicure, have the gift certificate, just have to do it.

9. Get into a bikini --------YEAH RIGHT! that's a laugh.

10. Treat my daughter to a manicure, pedicure and pampering her for one day.....just her and I.

11. Oh, yeah and throw Steve overboard somewhere in the ocean, (that's a joke but thought you'd like it)*

We know # 9 won't be done, so just for laughs...............have a great summer!
